The Porch Cam solves all the problems that come with a video doorbell. The Porch Cam is equipped with a wide angle lens and a 4K video chip. This combination provides far superior video and surveillance coverage than even the best video doorbell.
The problem with video doorbells: they can only see straight in front of them and are only effective up to 7-10 feet from the unit. The Porch Cam is installed as a normal surveillance camera and is not required to be 4 feet from the ground like a video doorbell. This gives the camera the viewing area and distance needed for quality area coverage. The Porch Cam's 4K video provides clear facial ID up to 50 feet from the camera.
The Porch Cam monitors your front door, entry and porch area. When motion is detected, the camera instantly sends an alert to you smart phone without the visitor ever knowing. Monitor their actions (in real-time) and, if needed, activate the built-in two-way communication, siren or high intensity LED flood lights directly from your smartphone. Active deterrence at its best!
The camera connects to your ProVue NVR with one Cat5 or Cat6 network cable and operates as a normal surveillance camera (no other cable or power source is required). This allows you to manage your entire video surveillance system and your front door activity with one easy to use ProVue smart phone app.

PoE & Power Supply
This camera is normally powered by directly connecting a Cat 5 or 6 cable from the camera to a PoE port on a NVR, DVR or PoE unit (power over ethernet, the unit is then connected to a router, modem or network port.) The single cable provides both video transmission to the NVR or network while delivering power to the camera. See PoE Units. The majority of our video recorders provide camera PoE ports for directly connecting the camera to the video recorder.
COLOR Night Vision
This 4k outdoor security camera is equipped with advanced low light and zero light night vision systems. The camera provides clear color video at night with the presence of some ambient light; such as yard lighting or nearby street lights. If the ambient light is not adequate the IR night vision system automatically turns on providing high quality black and white night vision image.
Image Quality
This camera automatically adjusts for the best HD image possible. The WDR feature automatically adjusts for best back lighting and exposure while the DNR function eliminates digital noise, producing extremely high quality video day and night.

One of the most common needs our customers have is the ability to identify vehicles on or near their property.
