Product Overview
The IXW-HWCBP hand wave call sensor is weather resistant and includes the SBX-2G/A surface mount box. It also includes the PS-POE to power the sensor, which can be mounted inside the SBX-2G/A.
The PS-POE is powered from either a PoE network drop or from the LAN 2 output on an IX Series door station that is connected to a PoE+ switch. The PS-POE provides power to the touchless sensor. The touchless sensor provides a form C dry contact output that can be connected to the trigger input of a IX Series door station. Doing so allows a visitor to place a call without touching the call button on the door station.
The touchless sensor will be illuminated blue while in standby and turn green when activated.
